It spreads through vaginal, anal and oral sex. Women who have more unprotected sex or have relations with more than one person are at greater risk of contracting this virus. Women whose immunity is weak are at greater risk of cancer. It is not necessary that a woman who has HPV virus will get cervical cancer. However, it is possible to prevent this cancer by getting HPV vaccine at the right time.
